When I work as Head of Story on a movie, I end up doing lots of sketches, maps and diagrams.  It really helps to coordinate everyone's efforts, especially on a project with complicated set pieces.

Storyboard Montage

I worked as Head of Story on a couple of Tinkerbell movies.  Storyboarding on these was so much fun because the stories required a great mixture of performance, humor, action and fantasy.  It was also a chance for me to work with the great folks from Pixar.   Here are some clips from a few different sequences and a little piece of a "Planes" short.  Click on the following link and then click on the first panel and you should be able to step through the images.

Vivo!

I've been working with some great folks on Lin Manuel Miranda's animated musical feature at Sony Pictures Animation.  It's called "Vivo" and I think it's going to be something special.  I was lucky to come on board two and a half years ago and was able to create some visual development/ story art as the project was getting off the ground.  Unfortunately, I'm not able to post any art for it at this time, so you'll just have to wait!
